Matthew Milewski, MD

Boston Children’s welcomes Matthew Milewski, MD as the newest addition to our team at the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center. Dr. Milewski joins us from Connecticut Children’s Hospital, where he practiced pediatric orthopedic surgery for more than five years, with a focus on sports medicine. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Milewski also completed two fellowships: orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Virginia and pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Dr. Milewski is passionate about research involving patellofemoral instability, return to play criteria following knee surgery, and collaborating with research groups such as ROCK and PRiSM. His work treating patients both operatively and non-operatively with shoulder instability, ankle instability, patellofemoral instability, OCD of the knee, ankle and elbow, ACL and meniscal injuries also helps inform his research regarding treatment of these conditions.

Through his dedicated patient care and commitment to improving standards of care within sports medicine, Dr. Milewski is an essential and welcome addition to our team.
